Marisa Robazza & Zoe Neidy met as dog walkers in 2019 in Ottawa, Ontario. They started with small talk, and quickly became buddies, organizing their schedules to walk at the same time, go to dog related events together, and hang out in their spare time. In 2020, they realized there was a lack of merchandise for dog enthusiasts between the "dog mom" and the "hardcore k-9" and they wanted to fix that, giving every day dog enthusiasts and professionals a brand that they could represent without needing to fall into a category.
We wanted to design hand drawn (that's right, no ai), small batch screen printed designs that come from ideas that we wanted to wear but couldn't find anywhere else.
Marisa Robazza - Co Owner
Marisa left her artsy career path behind when she brought home her first dog, Luna, and realized her true passion was dogs.
After a couple of years of walking dogs professionally, she transitioned to training them full time!
Marisa loves the mixture of working with dogs, teaching people, and the problem solving challenges that come along with the job.
Now we've come full circle and have combined her love of dogs with her love of art and expression through Sit Pretty.
Zoe Neidy - Co Owner
Zoe was born and raised to work with animals - specifically dogs. From a young age, she's been a dog lover and tries to implement it into every part of her life.
Initially coining the "enjoy your dog" motto after a vulnerable burnout post-training session, she wants to empower other dog lovers and enthusiasts to make the most out of the time they have with their dogs every day.
After too many years of art school, and the practice afterwards to back it up, she constantly looks for new and innovative ways to bring an artistic touch to her job.
Being the primary artist of the company, she finally gets a way to freely express herself and share that with others.

Bumble
Barely a dog, yet the best dog around.
Bumble's favourite things in life are food, shedding on things, and sleeping loudly and proudly.
Luna
(2015-2026)
A menace in her younger days, Luna spent her time begging for belly rubs, dramatically changing nap spots, and helping Marisa at lessons. If there was muddy water, she was sure to soak her legs in it.
Lumi
Lumi flip flops between being the best silly eared companion and competing seriously I PSA with Zoe. Her teeth are pointy, but nothing is pointer than her feet as she steps on you while you're relaxing.
Yara
Zoe's sweet foster fail with ears and a tongue too big for her head. She spends most of her time staring off into the distance at nothing in particular, and happily trotting in circles with her head tilted and tongue out.
Nuka
Lumi's daughter and the newest addition to the family. Nuka doesn't have a fully formed personality yet, but there's a lot of what's there. Squeaky and forward with lots of kisses to give, she's the next in line on the trial field with Zoe.
