Refund policy

We want your experience with Sit Pretty Apparel to be enjoyable, even when our merchandise isn't the right fit. 

You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to decide if it's not quite right. Everything you buy on our site is eligible for return except final sale items, and defective items. 

Returns will only be accepted if the item is in its original condition - this means unworn and unwashed with the product intact

Items may be rejected for return due to, but not limited to, the following reasons:

- Pet / Human hair

- Stains from deodorant or other hygienic products

- Smell (smoke, body odor, etc.)

- General damages

- Sign of wear 

There are very rare instances where you may have received a faulty or incorrect product. Contact us directly so we can organize a pre-paid label and replacement item.

We reserve the right to adjust your return method if your return arrives in a condition which does not meet our returns policy.

30-Day Return Policy

CUSTOMERS MAY BE RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURN SHIPPING COSTS.

To return an item, start the process by emailing us at sitprettyapparel@gmail.com, or contact us via our contact page. 

    Refunds can only be done to the original purchaser’s payment method on file with us or by gift card credit. Returns are processed within 1-5 business days of items received. Generally, it takes 3-5 business days to appear on your statement.

    We do not accept returns outside of our Return Policy, however, in special circumstances if & when an exception to a return outside of the policy is made, a 25% restocking fee may be applicable per return.

    In-Store Credit | Free Return Label
    If you know you’ll buy something in the near future, but aren’t quite sure what you want right now when you choose in-store credit, the cost to return your items is on us! All in-store credits are issued in Canadian currency.

    Original Payment Method | Customer Paid Return Label
    When you choose to receive your refund on your original payment method, the cost of returning your items is removed from your total eligible refund amount. For a free refund, choose store credit instead.

    When will I receive my exchange, refund or store credit?
    We will issue your refund or gift card once we approve your return. All items are to be inspected once they are returned to us. We reserve the right to adjust your return method if your return arrives in a condition which does not meet our returns policy (see above).

    Exchanges

    While we do not offer exchanges if you choose in-store credit we will pay for the return shipping and issue you a gift card equal to the value of your original order.

    Final Sale / Clearance Items

    Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. 

    Our Sale Collection contains final clearouts of limited edition colours, last sizes in designs, and defective products, all at affordable price points.

    As such, these products are all final sale. No exchanges, returns, or refunds. In the case of major damage/quality issue with a final sale item, a credit to our online store will be issued for the amount paid, once the product is returned and inspected within 30 days of purchase date. In this case, customers are responsible for paying all inbound shipping costs on returns. 

    Damaged Item Received

    Yikes! So sorry about that. Please contact us right away at sitprettyapparel@gmail.com to arrange for a replacement or refund.

    Wrong Colour/Item Received

    Oops! Contact us right away at sitprettyapparel@gmail.com and we’ll take care of it.

    Quality Policy

    We hold our designs to a high standard and we expect our customers to do so as well. Should you feel that your garment hasn’t performed well enough for you (outside of regular wear-and-tear, of course) please reach out to us to discuss your options.

    Gift Cards

    Items purchased using a gift card are subject to the same terms and conditions as above. The actual gift card is non-refundable, non-returnable but the items you purchased with said card would be so long as they fall within the above guidelines and standards.

    Cancel Your Order / Edit Your Order

    We do not accept order cancellations.

    Adjustments to an order after it has been placed are not guaranteed. For shipping address adjustments, please send us an email at sitprettyapparel@gmail.com immediately. If your order has not yet been processed by our team, changes will be made.

    If impulsive buying takes over, please wait to receive your order and then process a refund at your earliest convenience by contacting us via the contact page or sending us an email at sitprettyapparel@gmail.com

    As a small business, shipping label costs for returns are the customer's responsibility. We only offer free shipping labels for in-store credit.
